* You can refer to the Graduate Student Checklist for additional information

4. How Can I Apply As an International Graduate Student?

8. What If I Don't Meet the University/program Requirements?

University Requirements

You may view what can be done if the following requirements are not met

  1. Completed a four-year college course of study and obtained an accepted baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution or shall have completed equivalent academic preparation as determined by appropriate campus authorities.
    • Your Bachelor's degree must be earned prior to the first start date of the term you are applying to. If your degree is not earned, you may apply as an undergraduate applicant.
  2. Left in good academic standing at the last college or university attended
  3. Have attained a grade point average of at least 2.5 in an acceptable earned baccalaureate degree; or maintained a grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.5 (4.0 scale/ A = 4.0) in the last 60 semester (90 quarter) units attempted
    • Your last 60 units GPA may be improved by enrolling in transferable graded letter courses from a regionally accredited institution. Please speak with your program director to review what courses are recommended or required.
  4. Met the professional, personal, scholastic, and other standards for graduate study, including qualifying examinations, as appropriate campus authorities may prescribe.

Program Requirements

If program requirements are not met for the term you are applying for, you may apply for the next available term. No, but you must submit official transcripts from all other colleges or universities attended.

10. How Do I Login to MyCSUB?

11. I Have Submitted All Transcripts and Program Materials, but Why Is My Application Status Still Incomplete/pending?

When your application status is incomplete, the Office of Graduate Admissions is in the process of reviewing all transcripts that are received to complete the University Admission Evaluation. Once your transcripts are received, your status will change to pending.

* Transcripts must be submitted from all colleges/universities you have attended

Both university and program requirements must be submitted for final admission review.
