Legal Immigration Services
Direct immigration legal services are available free of charge to CSUB students and
employees. Attorneys and paralegals are available to assist students with general
consultations, immigration questions, and general assistance in filling out forms
such as family-based petitions. We strongly encourage you to meet to consult with
legal immigration counsel to understand your options.
Counseling Services
Counseling services are available virtually for CSUB students by calling 661-654-3366.
You can also speak to a crisis counselor after hours by dialing the Counseling Center's phone number (661-654-3366) and pressing 2. The crisis counselors can provide referrals
and information about campus and community resources, as well as provide immediate
help with urgent personal, emotional, or mental health concerns.
The CSUB Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides confidential counseling services to all CSUB employees and their families.
To access EAP services, call (800) 367-7474. For member services or online resources,
visit www.mylifematters.com. The company password is "csub". EAP services are available to our faculty, staff,
and student assistants for up to three months from the last day of employment. For
more information please contact Tina Williams by calling 661-654-3205.
Financial Assistance
State financial aid is not impacted by the Supreme Court decision. Students should
refer to campus emergency and basic needs programs on their campus which offer a variety of support for students. Finally, many non-profit
organizations offer scholarships and other financial assistance to undocumented students. For questions or support regarding your financial aid application
please contact Stephanie Perez at sperez37@csub.edu.
