Counseling Services
The CSUB student Counseling Center offers a variety of counseling services to all
regularly enrolled CSUB students. The services are designed to help students in reaching
their educational goals. The services are provided for by the student's registration
fees and are confidential within state and federal laws and the CSU policies.
The CSUB Counseling Center Provides:
After-hours, Emergency phone numbers: The Counseling Center provides telephone crisis counseling during the times the Center
is closed. Students can speak to a crisis counselor by dialing the Counseling Center
phone number (661-654-3366) and PRESS 2. The crisis counselors can provide referrals
and information about campus and community resources, as well as provide immediate

Workshops are educationally based programs that invite the student in to explore and
learn about specific areas of concern. Topics often cover managing stress/anxiety
and reducing depression. Check with the Workshops link to the left of this website
for current workshops being offered at the Counseling Center.
