Advising Appointments for Transfer Students
You will not be able to see an advisor until you have accepted your admissions on your MyCSUB and sent the following to our Admissions office:
- Your transcripts from all Community Colleges and/or Universities you attended.
- Any exams that you may have passed like AP, IB, or CLEP.
Once our evaluator inputs those courses/exams into your transfer credit on your MyCSUB, you will then be added to the “Ready to Advise” list. Advisors only advise students on this list. Advising starts November 14, 2022.
We run our "Ready to Advise" list and e-mail students on that list to make an appointment every week, starting October 31, 2022.
Our Transfer Center has a great list of "Next Steps" that you can read to help you become more knowledgeable about our process.

- Any exams that you may have passed like AP, IB, or CLEP.
