About Us
Accounting and Reporting Services, Student Affairs, is a department within Business Administrative Services division, with a dotted line to the Student Affairs division.
What We Do
Our team accounts for the financial transactions of the Student Affairs division including the Student-centered Enterprises, Inc. and Associated Students Inc. auxiliaries in accordance with policies and procedures of the California State University Auxiliary Organization’s Accounting and Reporting System. Our team also accounts for the financial transactions of the Division I Athletics department in accordance and compliance with the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act (EADA). The department ensure all income and expenditures of Student Affairs are received, disbursed, and recorded, and all accounting, reporting, and reconciliation functions are performed in accordance with related law and policy.
Our goal is to maintain the integrity of financial data through the preparation of monthly account analysis and reconciliations, by providing integrated reports over multiple business units. Our services include preparing financial statements, tax returns, and various monthly reconciliations, as well as processing expenditure transfer requests, and reporting of financial data to external and internal entities.
