Student employment on campus provides useful supportive services to the various academic
and administrative programs and/or departments, offers students valuable experience
related to their educational goals, and assists with financial support to help meet
the cost of attending college. CSUB provides equal opportunity to all employees including

This section makes available established standards, priorities and guidelines for
supervisors and students employed on-campus. The term “student assistant” is to be
interpreted as any student employed on campus other than those covered in bargaining
