An educational sanction consist of assignments, such as work, research, essays, tutoring, service to the University or other solutions aimed to discourage future violations of misconduct.

Examples of an educational sanction:

Students referred by our office to attend a tutoring session at Writing Resource Center (WRC) are required to complete the WRC Referral and Verification Form. The referral form must be submitted by the student to our office at deanofstudents@csub.edu by the deadline stated on the *Resolution Agreement following a tutoring session.  To download the form, click the link:

*A Resolution Agreement is an official document and agreement provided to students by our office who have been found in violation of the CSUB Student Conduct Code which outlines sanctions assigned, a deadline when the sanction should be completed, and other information regarding the outcome and procedures of a pending student conduct case.
