ASAP Peer Mentoring Program

Welcome to the AANHPI Student Achievement Program - Peer Mentoring Program, or ASAP Peer Mentoring Program. Our program helps students succeed by connecting them with peer mentors who provide support, guidance, and encouragement. The program builds confidence, belonging, and connection to campus resources and is open to all CSUB students, with a focus on AANHPI experiences.

What is a Peer Mentor?

A peer mentor is a student leader who supports, encourages, and guides other students through college life. Mentors help students stay motivated, connect to campus resources, and create a sense of belonging.

Peer mentoring helps to reduce stress and encourage academic success while developing leadership and communication skills.

  • Build friendships and gain support to create a network of success
  • Find a sense of belonging, resilience, and leadership in the environment
