Excel 2016 and Graphs
In this session, you will learn how to create and customize line, pie, bar, and column charts. Additionally, we will create different types of charts from Finance Data Warehouse and myCSUB query data.
Session Length: 120 minutes
Intended Audience: Anyone
Prerequisites: Familiarity with Microsoft Excel 2016
Format: Presentation and Hands-on activities
SESSION OBJECTIVES
At the end of the session, you will be able to:
- Describe the purpose of graphs
- Explain importance of graphing data
- Describe the 3 basic graph forms
- Identify the purpose of Pivot Charts
- Articulate the steps to create a graph
- Create charts associated with the basic graph forms
- Enhance charts for readability and meaningfulness
- Summarize a chart
