Continuing SSE Majors with an Assigned Staff Advisor

CONTINUING SSE MAJORS WITH A STAFF ADVISOR WITHOUT AN ADVISING HOLD 
If you DO NOT have an Staff Advising Hold, you are not required to meet with your SSE Academic Advisor.

However, it is recommended you meet with your SSE Academic Advisor at least once a year to make sure you understand your degree requirements and stay on track for graduation.

Please keep an eye out on your CSUB email for a link and instructions on how to schedule your advising appointment. This email is sent a week or two before we enter the busy advising season, to give advisors time to prepare for your advising appointment.

CONTINUING SSE MAJORS WITH A FACULTY ADVISOR WITHOUT AN ADVISING HOLD
Continuing SSE majors can meet with a faculty advisor in their major department for advising. You can find your assigned faculty advisor or major department on your MyCSUB account.  Please reach out to your faculty advisor directly for an appointment.

CONTINUING SSE MAJORS WITH A FACULTY ADVISOR WITH A FACULTY ADVISING HOLD
Continuing SSE majors with an Faculty Advising Hold must meet with a faculty advisor in their major department for advising. SSE Advisors cannot remove a Faculty Advising Hold. 

PSYCHOLOGY STUDENTS
Please use the "Psychology Connection and Advising" course in Canvas for details about career advising or applied experience courses.
