The ITS Information Security team is excited to take advantage of this time to share links to resources, tools, and tips for online safety, invitations to webinars, and communicate with you about various cybersecurity topics.
Ways to Stay Safe Online
AI Privacy
Be mindful of what you share with AI tools. Treat them like any other online platform,
and avoid entering sensitive or personal information to protect your privacy.
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Enhance your account security by enabling MFA, which adds an extra layer of protection beyond just a password.
Passwords and Password Managers
Create long, random, and unique passwords that include uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols. Consider using a password manager to keep track of your passwords.
Phishing
Be cautious of unsolicited messages asking for personal information. Avoid sharing
sensitive information with unknown sources and report phishing attempts immediately.
