Erika Delamar, MPH, MS, is the Interim Director of Student Health Services. She received her Master
of Public Health Degree in 1998 and her Master of Education Counseling degree in 2010.
Erika has served in many different roles since joining the SHS in 2000.
Christopher Gambrioli, MD, is board-certified in family medicine and has been an SHS staff physician since 2005.
Dr. Gambrioli graduated from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada,
West Indies in 2002 and completed his family medicine residency training at Kern Medical
Center in 2005.
My Kha, MD, is a staff physician at Student Health Services. She is board certified in family
medicine and is our primary reproductive health provider. Dr. Kha received her Bachelor
of Science degree from UC Berkeley in 1997 and graduated from St. George’s Medical
School in 2002. She finished her family medicine residency at KMC in 2005 and has
been with the SHS ever since.
Candice Banducci, MSN, FNP-C, joined Student Health Services in 2023 as a Nurse Practitioner. In addition
to being a CSUB graduate (she completed all of her undergraduate and graduate nursing
training here), she brings experience in women’s health, cardiology, hospice and palliative
care, and pediatrics to our team.
Alan D. Witherell, PharmD, RpH, has been the Pharmacist for CSUB Student Health Services since 2011.
Dr. Witherell received his Doctorate of Pharmacy in 2003 from Massachusetts College
of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. He uses his 15+ years of retail pharmacy experience
to help enhance student understanding of prescribed medications.
Dawna Solis, CLS, MLS (ASCP) received her Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2012 from CSUB and
her CLS Training Certificate in 2014 from SFSU. Dawna will soon also have her Master
of Arts in Health Care Administration! Prior to joining Student Health Services in
2023 as the Clinical Laboratory Scientist II, she worked as a CSL in local hospital
labs for 9 years in a variety of disciplines and lead roles.
Lauren Hedlund, MS, is Student Health Services’ Health Educator. She received her Master of Science
in Educational Counseling in 2013 and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2011 -
both from California State University, Bakersfield. She is certified in Nutritional
Counseling through American Fitness Professionals & Associates and certified in Contraception
Counseling through Essential Access Health.
Jessica Allred is Student Health Services' Health Education Assistant. She graduated from Brigham
Young University, Provo in 2013 with her Bachelor of Science in Family Life. Her marketing
background has helped revamp the SHS in-office advertising and social media pages
since 2020.
BreAnn Navarro, RNC, joined Student Health Services in 2022 as a Registered Nurse II. She graduated from
Bakersfield College in 2008 and spent the first 14 years of her career specializing
in Labor and Delivery.
Nora Sanchez is Student Health Services' Medical Assistant and Referral Specialist. She received
her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from CSUB. Nora has since received her Medical
Assistant certification, as well becoming a certified member of the Sexual Assault
Response Team.
Stephanie Jones has worked as a Medical Assistant for Student Health Services since 2016. She graduated
from San Joaquin Valley College with her Associate of Science Degree in Clinical and
Administrative Medical Assistant. Her additional 5 years of outside medical assistant
experience contributes to the quality care offered to CSUB students.
Shelly South is an Administrative Support Assistant II. She graduated from San Diego State University
with a Bachelor of Science in Health Science and a minor in Psychology. Shelly has
worked at CSUB since 1993 and at the SHS since 2010.
Amy Ellis joined Student Health Services in 2021. She comes to us with 20 years of professional
experience - both financial and medical. Her customer service background and student-oriented
mentality makes her a great addition to our team.
Georgie Ashis Student Health Services’ Administrative Analyst/Specialist. She graduated from
California State University, Bakersfield in 2015 with her Bachelor of Science in Business
Administration - Management. Joining our team in 2022, her 10+ years of experience
in business operations and accounting is a great asset to the clinic.
Jessica "Jessie" Rogge, DAT, ATC, CES, graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science degree
and from San Jose State University with a Master of Arts degree in Kinesiology. She
completed her Doctorate of Athletic Training degree with A.T. Still University in
June of 2023. She has worked at CSUB since 2019 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer and
Head Athletic Trainer.
Michael Wilkins, MAed, ATC, CSCS, is an Athletic Trainer II. Michael received his Master of Arts
in Secondary Education and Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Michael has worked
at CSUB as an Athletic Trainer since 2011 and as an adjunct professor since 2006.
Ianna Leon-Guerrero, MS, ATC, started at CSUB in 2021 after completing her Graduate Assistantship with
Texas A&M University, Kingsville. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training
at New Mexico State University.
Aysha Reyes, MS, ATC, started at CSUB as an Athletic Trainer in May of 2023 after completing
her graduate assistantship from the University of South Carolina in 2022. She earned
her bachelors degree from California Statue University, Northridge.
Abby Moore, MSAT, ATC, became an Athletic Trainer at CSUB in June of 2023. She completed her
Masters of Athletic Training program from BYU in May of 2023, and earned her bachelors
degree from Utah Valley University in Exercise Science.
