2025 NSME Awards - Geology

CSUB Geology consistently has excellent students, and to honor their achievements, students are nominated for NSME-wide awards. This Spring, Braedon Scarry was nominated for Outstanding Undergraduate Student for his performance in the classroom and excellence in extracurricular activities. Maggie Izumi was nominated for Outstanding Undergraduate Published Paper for her accepted abstract and presentation at the 2024 American Geophysical Union Fall Meeting. We are extremely proud of Braedon and Maggie, and hope future students look to them as examples of what can be achieved as an undergraduate Geology major!
