University, Bakersfield. Lizeth (Liz) is a Certified Public Accountant and has over
25 years of accounting experience. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration
with a concentration in Accounting from CSUB and worked in both public accounting
(CBIZ Bakersfield) and corporate accounting (Castle & Cooke) where she gained experience
in auditing, tax, and corporate financial reporting before joining CSUB in 2003. While
at CSUB, Liz has held various positions from accountant to Administrator I over Accounts
Payable before being Director of Accounting & Reporting Services. Under Liz’ direction,
CSUB has been featured on the cover of the CSU Consolidated Financial Statements for
five consecutive years as top 10 campus for excellence in financial reporting.
