New Students and Family Weekend (NSFW) is a campus-wide celebration that will ensure first-time freshmen and transfer students make a successful transition to California State University, Bakersfield. All new students and their families are encouraged to attend the free events, participate in fun activities, join clubs, meet new friends, explore the campus, and experience what it's like to be a part of the CSUB family.

Whether you are moving into Student Housing or just ready to get connected, we hope you and your families will join us on Saturday, August 24 and Sunday, August 25, 2024 for a weekend filled with free events to celebrate and welcome you as a new student!
