Student Research
Many of our students conduct research in the labs of faculty. This is strongly encouraged as having a robust research experience as an undergraduate can open many doors after graduation. For example, these types of activities are highly regarded by graduate schools and medical schools. If you are interested in research, have a look at faculty web pages to see what type of research they do in their labs. If you see something that is of interest to you then speak to the faculty member about research opportunities that they have available. Here is a link to the Student Research Scholars Program where you can get money to conduct research! http://www.csub.edu/grasp/StudentResearchSupport/index.html
