Faculty Surveys
On behalf of Drs. Melissa Danforth, Aubrey Kemp, and Andrea Medina:
It is time for your concerns to have follow-up action, and we need you! Our team is developing a 5-year faculty equity strategic plan for CSUB and your input is the most important part of its design!
This anonymous and condensed survey will take about 25-30 minutes to complete. Below you will find a flyer and a link to participate in the survey. You can find more information about the project in the Grant Overview tab.
Since August 2022, we have been working on an ongoing institutional project funded by the NSF to design a 5-year equity plan to improve the climate and culture for our faculty, specifically focusing on gender and racial inequities with the consideration of intersectionality. In Fall 2023 we conducted a pilot survey (thank you to those of you who participated!) and have used that analysis and the results of our other investigations to focus this updated survey on extremely important issues our campus faces.
Faculty members in STEM* departments, as defined by the NSF, are invited to participate
in this study. Your responses will greatly influence the 5-year equity plan for our faculty and campus.
(*The National Science Foundation (NSF) lists STEM departments as those in the College
of Natural Sciences, Mathematics, and Engineering (NSME), as well as Anthropology,
Economics, Political Science, Psychology, and Sociology)
Your voice matters, and we want to make sure it is heard!
