CSU Bakersfield is dedicated to training the next generation of leaders who will address the challenges of climate change across a range of industries and applications. As well as being an educational leader, CSUB takes great pride in implementing practical steps to advancing sustainability components on the physical campus.
Among its accolades, CSUB is rated a STARS Silver institution by the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education. CSUB was awarded the distinguished honor of being the second university in the nation to become a Keep America Beautiful Collegiate Affiliate. CSUB is also a partner of the US EPA's Green Power Partnership.
