Membership Requirements

Phi Sigma Sigma ladies aim to live the values of our organization each and every day! The four responsibilities of every Phi Sigma Sigma are:

  1. Responsibilities To Self:
    Maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.4 per quarter. Work with a Study Buddy to develop and enhance study habits. Develop and expand leadership potential through involvement in chapter committees, by chairing a project or holding an office. Seek new friendships which can broaden your personal perspectives.
  2. Responsibilities To Chapter:
    Meet chapter financial obligations promptly. Get to know your chapter sisters. Learn your chapter traditions, history and functions. Participate in chapter projects and social activities. Attend chapter and committee meetings.
  3. Responsibilities To Campus and Surrounding Community:
    Become involved in Panhellenic and Greek Council activities. Get to know other Greeks. Participate in extracurricular activities, community volunteer and fundraising projects. Seek to serve the campus and community in whatever ways you can.
  4. Responsibilities To International Organization:
    Learn about Phi Sigma Sigma by learning its founding history, how it runs and what your role is. Support International programs and the Phi Sigma Sigma Foundation. Complete International requirements. Represent Phi Sigma Sigma and the whole Greek system to everyone with whom you come into contact.
