Excel 2016 and Pivot Tables

In this session, you will learn how to create pivot tables using data from the Finance Data Warehouse, myCSUB, and a self-created table.

Intended Audience: Any CSUB Staff or Faculty

Prerequisites: Familiarity with Microsoft Excel 2016

At the end of the session, the participants will be able to:

• Distinguish between tables and pivot tables
• Identify the basic pivot table types
• Describe the pivot table environment
• Create pivt tables using student and financial data
• Perform custom sorts
• Enhance pivot tables
• Apply filters and slicers
