kern museum
The Kern County Museum is a wonderful example of a community coming together to share town history. This museum was created after Bakersfield’s Lion Club came up with the idea of donating historical artifacts to the Chamber of Commerce. This idea was clearly loved, because families jumped at the idea of sharing the past treasures of Kern County. At this museum, you can take the time to walk through and experience Kern through the ages. Rich history of music, oil, machinery, architecture, and much more can be experienced here.
