Welcome to the NSME Student Center

NSME faculty and staff are committed to helping our students succeed. The NSME Student Center, staffed by full-time advisors and student assistants, provides programs and services to support NSME students. Services include pre-advising and registration assistance, with an overall goal of supplementing each student's academic education in a safe, secure, and accessible environment. Tutoring for individual subjects is available through the Sciences, Mathematics, and Engineering Tutoring Centers. (NSME acknowledges Chevron Corporation's financial contribution to the NSME Student Center).

In addition to efforts with current CSUB students, the Center assists in the University's recruitment efforts by participating in Outreach programs, events, and services.  Such services are set in place to assist those students desiring to attend CSUB with a seamless transition.

The NSME Student Center is located in SCI I, Room 116. Our reception window is to the right of the giraffe. You read that right, to the right of the giraffe! We do take walk-ins but strongly recommend that you make an appointment. Please call us with any questions you may have or to make an appointment to with your advisor. We also have a student lounge next to the center and a courtyard outside. Stop by to study, take a break, or socialize with your friends.
