University Counselor Training Clinic (UCTC) Scheduling an Appointment

How Do I Make an Appointment for the UCTC?

All counseling sessions are by appointment only. To schedule an appointment, please call our voicemail at (661) 654-3402. Leave your name and telephone number(s) where you can be reached. A Clinic manager will return your call as soon as possible.

When is the Clinic Open?

The Clinic is open during the academic school year, Monday through Friday, in afternoons and evenings. We are closed during the summer and winter break. Clinic staff generally begin scheduling appointments around September 1.

How Much Does It Cost?

Fees for counseling services are $25 for the first session and $15 per session thereafter. Fees are collected at the beginning of each session and are used to support the operation of the Clinic.

Should our fees impose a hardship, please ask the Clinic manager or your counselor about alternative arrangements. No clients will be denied services because of their current inability to pay.

Where is the Clinic?

The University Counselor Training Clinic is on the CSUB campus at 9001 Stockdale Highway. It is located in room 200 on the 2nd floor of the Education Building.

Enter the University from Don Hart Drive West (the west entrance off Stockdale Highway). The Education Building is in the center of the campus, directly west of the red brick sidewalk. Use the outside wooden staircase to enter the building. There is also a handicapped entrance through the main doors on the ground floor.

Parking

Free parking is located north of Stockdale Highway across from the CSUB Amphitheatre. You may also obtain a $6.00 parking pass from one of the kiosks located at each entrance to the campus. The parking lots are often crowded, so please arrive early.

Golden Empire Transit busses also make stops on campus, near the Education Building, from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. during the week.
