My goal is to be an elementary school teacher who creates a classroom where every student feels understood, valued, and included. I’m passionate about finding ways to support all types of learners and respecting the languages, cultures, and traditions my students bring with them.
As a proud Mexican American and first-generation college student, my background and
experiences have taught me the importance of creating spaces where everyone feels
welcome. Working with CSUB Outreach has given me the chance to connect with students
from all kinds of backgrounds, which has only made me more excited to help others
succeed in their education.

I aspire to work with kids in the future. I'm still not 100% certain about how I want to be of help to young children, but I know that I want to be a helping hand for whatever they may need. I want to be able to watch children grow and achieve their goals.
