The CSUB Black Student Success Center is a hub for Black students, providing resources, mentorship, and a space for cultural expression and academic support.  The center's goals include creating a sense of belonging and affirmation for Black scholars on campus.  The Center is open to and welcomes all students at the university.

The BSSC strives to address the needs of the Black students and align with the CSU Bakersfield strategic plan – with special attention given to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
