My name is Eunice Miranda; I am this year’s Mexica Tiahui Ballet Folklórico Performance Instructor. My goal this year for this group is to take all 26 members of Mexica Tiahui the National Association of Folklórico Groups (ANGF) dance conference that will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada. We have been working diligently in creating a group which will represent and respect the traditions and values of the Mexican culture. We are in the process of fundraising and collecting sponsorship in making this year a success. I look forwards to working with the students whom wish to participate in the group in order to learn and contribute to the dissemination of culture and community involvement on our CSUB campus, the Bakersfield community and outlining areas. I just ask a few things of my members: we dance as a team; we have to commit to sounding as one and always smile. Our work ethics are simple: we work hard so that we can play hard and enjoy the fruits of our labor and we never compromise the team.
