25-26 ICDP Cohort
Kira Beaudin

Kira Beaudin (she/her) is a Senior Fellow, joining the ICDP Fellowship for the second year. She graduated from CSUB in 2025 but is grateful to be able to participate in the program during her gap year. She plans to utilize the tools and skills she's learned from the ICDP program in the classroom, as she pursues her career in academia.
Jessica Killmer

Major: Philosophy, Minor: Japanese
Jessica’s (she/her) passion for philosophy and discourse led her to apply for the
ICDP program, where she acquired skills for discussion facilitation, conflict resolution
and management, and for reflecting on biases and beliefs. As a Senior Fellow and ICDP
Student Assistant, she has found creative ways of analyzing discourse in philosophy,
where she has directly applied these skills as a Student Intern for the Philosophy
for Children program. Facilitating philosophical discussions with K-8 students served
as a foundation for her Senior Thesis, which analyzes the benefits of introducing
children to philosophical thinking and reasoning for democracy as a way of dismantling
polarized belief systems and contributing to civil society.
Erin Rowley

Zaina Farraj

Zaina (she/her) is a fourth year Political Science major with an emphasis in Pre-Law and a minor in Business Administration. Zaina’s interest in the Intercollegiate Civil Disagreement Partnership stemmed from her desire to sharpen her active listening and mediation skills—key abilities that will support her future educational endeavors and legal career. Zaina’s passion for advocacy has influenced her range of involvement both on and off CSUB’s campus, currently serving as Chair of the ASI Board, President and Founder of CSUB’s MENA, Vice President of the Pre-Law Society, a 2025 UCLA Central Valley Law Fellow, and this year’s CSUB Student Representative for the Maddy Institute of Public Policy. Zaina is looking forward to all the ICDP fellowship has to offer for this year’s cohort.
