Adobe for All

The California State University (CSU) system has officially launched a groundbreaking system wide initiative that significantly expands access to Adobe tools throughout the CSU community.

Unlimited Access

Beginning January 12th 2026, under the new agreement with Adobe, CSUB Faculty, Staff and Students now have unlimited access to Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Express, empowering them with industry-standard tools for creative work, academic projects, and professional development.

As a result of this expanded partnership, CSU becomes the first-ever Adobe Creative Campus system, marking a historic milestone in public higher education and reinforcing CSU’s leadership in digital equity and innovation.

How to Access

  • Faculty and Staff
    • On CSUB machines, the Creative Cloud App is already installed, simply login and choose the apps you want to install. 
    • On personal devices download the Creative Cloud App directly from Adobe.
  • Students
    • Download the Creative Cloud App directly from Adobe. 
    • Sign in and choose the individual apps you would like to install. 
  • You may be signed in on two devices at a time.

AI Credits

Your Adobe license includes 1,000 generative AI credits per month. You can view your credit consumption and reset date in your account. Some examples of Adobe Apps that contain AI features include: 

  • Adobe Photoshop: Generative Fill and Generative Expand
  • Adobe Illustrator:  Generative Recolor
  • Adobe Express: Generate Text effects
  • Adobe Firefly: Text to Image, Generate Video and Translate and Lip Sync
    • Standard Models only, Premium Models will be available Fall 2026.
    • Models with the crown icon indicate a premium model.
