Faculty perspective makes ITS better. That is not a slogan. It is something I have come to believe from working with faculty across CSUB over the last few years, and it is why this page exists. ITS operates best when it engages with the academic work of the university as a partner, not a service provider. The opportunities on this page are how we do that. CIO Faculty Fellows Program

A small faculty advisory group that brings academic perspective to ITS strategy across accessibility, artificial intelligence, data governance, classroom technology, research computing, and other ITS-related topics.

  • Who: All CSUB faculty and librarians, six seats total
  • What you get: $500 annual stipend, direct engagement with the CIO
  • Commitment: Two-year term, one monthly meeting, one semester dinner
  • Deadline: Friday, November 6, 2026
