Institution Data Request
Prior to submitting your request for institutional data, please review the information already available in the interactive areas of the IRPA website (you can use the menu above). If you are unable to locate the information you are looking for, please complete a request form below. The IRPA office is always available to serve as a resource to the CSUB community, however the current volume of requests and projects makes it difficult to respond in a timely manner. The time required to complete custom data requests will vary depending on the complexity of the request and availability of our staff and/or relevant data. The office endeavors to provide data as quickly as possible, however it is best to provide maximum advance notice if you have a data request tied to a deadline.
Please allow a minimum of 2 weeks to complete your data request — your data may be ready sooner depending on the complexity of the request and other priorities in our office.
Data will generally only be provided in the aggregate format (in an Excel spreadsheet unless otherwise requested). All requests must strictly adhere to Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) guidelines.

Public Records
Need to request individual student public records? The Office of the Registrar is responsible for keeping and maintain all student records at CSUB. Any release of personally identifiable information (PII) must be requested from the Registrar. Please visit the Records webpage to identify the type of request most appropriate for your needs. Any questions or requests relating to the release of public records can be directed to publicrecordsrequest@csub.edu.
