Fall 2021 Commencement - Graduate Hooding and Undergraduate Ceremonies

  • Students who have a grad check on file with the Office of the Registrar for the summer 2021 or fall 2021 terms are eligible to participate in the Fall Commencement. 
  • The grad check must be received no later than Friday, October 8, 2021 to be included on the commencement eligibility list. 
  • Registration will open Tuesday, October 12, 2021 and close Monday, November 15, 2021 at 10:00 p.m.
  • The number of guest tickets per graduate will be determined by the end of September.

Honor Cords - Honors status is determined by your GPA. Students may locate their GPA in the student portal. The Commencement Office doesn't have access to students' GPAs.

summa cum laude
3.9 to 4.0 GPA

magna cum laude
3.6 to 3.89 GPA

cum laude
3.3 to 3.59 GPA

IMPORTANT: It is important that spring 2021 graduates who are applying for graduation after the Grad Check Application Deadline to check on their student portal that their graduation term is Spring 2021. If it states another term besides Sprng 2021, please email to change your graduation final term. This will ensure your name will be on the list that is sent to the Commencement Office to communicate with the graduates.
