Business and Financial Services

Business and Financial Services is a unit within the Business and Administrative Services Division at California State University, Bakersfield. We are a service-oriented organization supporting the main campus and four auxiliary organizations. Our team maintains the University's fiscal integrity through accurate recordkeeping and adherence to State, CSU, and University procedures.

Our goal is to provide innovative business and financial solutions that promote efficiency and maximize results. Through strategic partnerships with the campus community, we provide guidance on business practices, maintain accurate and timely financial records, and deliver administrative support to students, staff, and faculty.

 To further support the campus community, Business and Financial Services is developing a comprehensive Processes and Procedures Resource that will serve as a central location for guidance on common business processes, departmental procedures, and more. This resource is being designed to help users navigate University business and financial activities efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with University requirements, while also connecting them with the appropriate department for assistance.
