Student Assistant Positions

Library Resource Center Student Assistant

Job Description:
  • Assists AV Librarian with the following:
  • Use multiple library databases to search for course materials (search for all required textbooks to be placed on Course Reserve)
  • Search various campus web pages and databases
  • Update statistical data on library use as needed.
  • Create, input data into, and edit Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
  • Create or design marketing material to help advertise the AV Library ResourceCenter (print and possibly video production)
  • Other library duties as required
Qualifications:
  • Must be currently enrolled at CSUB AV
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to work independently
  • Good communication skills
  • Research and library skills preferred but not required
  • Graphic design, HTML or web design, and/or video production skills preferred but not required
Schedule/Pay:

Part-time (10-20 Hours per week) | $16.90 per hour
