Graduation Information for Master's Degree Candidates

Each prospective graduate for a graduate degree must complete all requirements and file for graduation by the appropriate deadline.

Submission of Application:

All forms may be obtained from your graduate program department and must be completed, approved, and submitted to the Evaluation Office. It is the responsibility of the student to meet with the advisor and to request all paperwork to be completed and sent to the Evaluations Office. Failure to submit the following forms will result in not receiving a response to the Application for Graduation. 

In addition, the following items must be received from the department and/or Library before the degree can be awarded (if applicable).

  • Verification of completion of Comprehensive exams or
  • Library Approval of Thesis or Project

Graduation Application Fee:

The application form and a $70.00 fee should be taken to the Cashier's Office. Payment can also be made online via credit card. A receipt of the transaction must accompany the application if paid online. After payment of the fee, submit the printed application form to the Evaluations Office, in the Office of Admissions and Records.
