Office of Admissions
The Office of Admission oversees all applications for undergraduate, international, and graduate applicants, including those seeking a first or second bachelor’s degree, teaching credentials, master’s degrees, and doctoral programs.
Our office admits and matriculates those individuals who will strengthen the CSUB campus community and alumni base. The Office of Admissions is here to help you through the admissions process when you are ready to get started.

FALL 2025 APPLICATIONS - NOW CLOSED
We are accepting applications for first-time freshmen, lower-division transfers, upper-division transfers, and those who hold ADT’s.
- Application filing period: CSUB admissions application for non-impacted programs is open via Cal State Apply from October 1 - December 1.
- Initial transcripts: Initial transcripts are due by February 17.
- Intent to enroll: All students intending to enroll at CSUB must submit the non-refundable $100 deposit or fee waiver by May 1.
- Final transcripts: Final transcripts with Spring 2025 grades, graduation date, or degree posted due by July 1.
*Application deadlines for special populations such Veterans, Returning Students, as well as graduate programs vary. Visit Cal State Apply for additional information.
SPRING 2026 APPLICATIONS - CLOSED
We are accepting applications for first-time freshmen, lower-division transfers, upper-division transfers, and those who hold ADT’s.
- Application filing period: CSUB admissions application for non-impacted programs is open from August 1 - August 31.
- Initial transcripts: Initial transcripts with the 7th semester grades or spring 2025 semester grades are due by September 30.
- Intent to enroll: All students intending to enroll at CSUB must submit the non-refundable $100 deposit or fee waiver by October 31.
- Final transcripts: Final transcripts with Fall 2025 grades, graduation date, or degree posted due by January 5.
