The mission of Payroll Services is to provide
excellent support and service to faculty, staff and student
employees by:
- promoting and providing quarterly training to campus department timekeepers in areas of attendance reporting and record keeping and sending memorandum updates when changes occur

- creating forms that are 'user friendly' and easy to interpret and can be accessed on the Payroll web page
|
- being proactive with department timekeepers to ensure that attendance is reported accurately and submitted on time to meet campus payroll and SCO deadlines
|
- the payroll staff imputing changes to the SCO personnel/payroll database in a timely manner so that pay will generate in time to meet designated pay dates
|
- working closely with both Academic and Administrative Human Resources departments to ensure that bargaining unit changes for represented employees are correctly implemented and meet Chancellor's Office and State Controller's Office audit requirements.
