Grants, Research, and Sponsored Programs
Welcome to Grants, Research, and Sponsored Programs
The Office of Grants, Research, and Sponsored Programs (GRaSP) aspires to be a model unit of service and support which fosters and advances research, creative, and sponsored activities for the enrichment of teaching and learning at CSUB, and for the benefit of the university, the community, and the region.
The mission of the GRaSP Office is to provide the administrative infrastructure for the development and submission of proposals, and for the receipt of awards for the sponsored programs of the University and the CSUB Auxiliary for Sponsored Programs Administration (SPA).
GRaSP services include administrative support for:
- Pre-award assistance to faculty and staff seeking external funding and other resources to support research and service projects for students, faculty, and the community
- Faculty research funding programs of the Research Council of the University (RCU)
- Student Research Scholars Program (SRS), Student Research Competition (SRC), and the Travel Support for Student Researchers
- Institutional Review Board and ethics training for Human Subjects (HSIRB, HSPT) and Animal Subjects (IACUC, HCUAS)
- Management of CSUB and SPA’s Intellectual Property
We encourage you to contact us for information, guidance and other services in support of your research and sponsored program interests.
