Alumni Association:

• Members of the CSUB Alumni Association are eligible to purchase memberships from the SRC.
• CSUB Alumni wishing to join the SRC as a member must first join the Alumni Association. (Alumni office: 654-3211) Alumni Association membership is free of charge.
• The monthly membership options available to Alumni Association members are Early Bird, Lunch Pass, Happy Hour, Un-restricted Monthly, and Annual. (Please see the Membership form for pricing.)
How to sign up for membership:
1. Complete the membership form, waiver of liability, and membership agreement found on the SRC webpage or the SRC Welcome desk.
2. Submit and purchase your membership option at the SRC Welcome Desk.
3. Currently, The SRC only accepts cash or check. Make checks payable to the Student Recreation Center.
4. You must show your Alumni Association card when you purchase your membership. Please remember to bring photo identification.
• Members must sign a waiver of liability every academic year prior to entering the facility.
• Members are required to slide their SRC ID card through the turnstile with every admittance into the facility.

Intensive English Learning Center (IELC) Students

• IELC students are eligible to purchase memberships from the SRC since their dues are not included in their university fees.
• The monthly membership options available to IELC students are Early Bird, Lunch Pass, Happy Hour, Un-restricted Monthly, and Annual. (Please see the Membership form for pricing.)
How to sign up for membership:
1. Complete the membership form, waiver of liability, and membership agreement found on the SRC webpage or the SRC Welcome desk.

Affilates (Non-IELC Extended University Students, Auxiliary Services Staff, OLLI etc.)

• Current Affiliates to the University are eligible to purchase memberships from the SRC.
• The monthly membership options available to IELC students are Early Bird, Lunch Pass, Happy Hour, and Un-restricted Monthly. (Please see the Membership form for pricing.)

Guest Passes

SRC Students, Faculty, Staff, Retired/Emeriti Faculty and Staff, Alumni, IELC Students, and Affiliate members are eligible to sponsor daily guests
• Members may sponsor up to two guests 18 years or older per day.
• Member must accompany their guest at all times and they must leave together.
• Guests must sign a waiver with each entry. Both member and guest must sign guest registration form.
• Guests need to present photo identification to purchase a pass.
• Guests must observe all SRC policies, guidelines, and staff requests.
• Member assumes responsibility for the actions of their guests.
• Sponsored Members may not sponsor a guest.

Individuals eligible for membership may purchase a daily pass without a sponsor (except IELC students and Affiliates).

Eligibility

• Student Recreation Center (SRC) facilities are student-fee funded facilities and are provided at no additional charge to all enrolled, full-fee paying CSUB students.


• Current CSUB faculty and staff are eligible to purchase memberships.


• Retired and emeriti faculty and staff of CSUB with eligibility recognized through Human Resources are eligible to purchase memberships.


• According to the Student Fee Referendum Initial Implementation Document, faculty, staff, and alumni who wish to use the facility will be required to pay a fee no less than the amount students pay in their quarterly fees.


• Current CSUB Alumni Association members are eligible to purchase memberships.


• Effective spring quarter 2009, a non-transferable membership credit will be available for students who paid student fees from fall quarter 2005 though spring quarter 2009. This credit must be used in consecutive quarters and expires at the end of spring quarter 2014.


• Intensive English Language Center (IELC) students are eligible to purchase quarterly memberships. Eligibility is determined and identified through the IELC staff.


• Affiliates of the University [non-IELC Extended University students, Auxiliary Services staff (food service, bookstore, etc.)] are eligible to purchase quarterly memberships. Eligibility is determined and identified through the corresponding University department.


• Current SRC members may purchase one additional sponsored Membership


• SRC memberships are not available for the general community.


• Proof of eligibility is required at time of registration.


• Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable.


• Members who allow unauthorized users access to the SRC may have membership privileges suspended or revoked.


• SRC staff reserves the right to spot check photo identification.


• Members must abide by all facility policies, participant guidelines, and staff requests.


• Annual memberships are renewable the first week of September and are valid fall through summer quarter.

Payment Options
SRC memberships and guest passes may be purchased with cash, or check. Payroll deduction is an option for Faculty/Staff and their Sponsored member using the Annual Membership option.

Benefits
Membership includes use of Student Recreation Center facilities, SRC Field, participation in group exercise classes, personal trainer and fitness advising services (except Early Bird, Lunch Pass, and Happy Hour Memberships), use of day lockers, towel service, and sports equipment check out.
