California State University, Bakersfield, will be hosting a "Veterans Information Day" targeting veterans attending a service region community college who may wish to pursue a four-year college degree. This program will give discharged veterans and active-duty students the opportunity to explore and learn how to continue their educational journey at CSUB.

CSU, Bakersfield hopes to join forces with all community colleges in this service region (e.g., Antelope Valley, Bakersfield CC, Cerro Coso CC, College of the Canyons, College of the Sequoias, Porterville CC, and Taft CC) to make this program as successful as possible.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, April 10, 2010, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Albertson Room, located adjacent to the Dore Theatre on the Northwest side of the CSUB campus. We hope you will join us and invite your veteran students to attend our "Veterans Information Day."

Through the collaborative efforts of CSUB and community college partners, we can do an even better job of serving our Kern County veterans.
