July 27, 2009 - The artwork of six California State University, Bakersfield fine arts alumni will be featured in the group exhibition, "OILDALE," at L2kontemporary in Los Angeles.

Greg Colson ('78, BA), Jeff Colson ('79, BA), Edward Lightner ('84, BA), Jill Thayer ('78 BA/'04, MA),Deanna Thompson ('80, BA), and Thomas Trivitt ('81, BA) share their experiences of living in Oildale through their artwork.

OILDALE opens Saturday, Aug. 1 with an artist reception at 7 p.m. The exhibition continues through Saturday, Aug. 29. Gallery hours are Thursday through Sunday from 1-6 p.m. or by appointment.
