CSUB partners with community group to offer workshop for casualty underwriters exam

October 30, 2009 - California State University, Bakersfield's School of Business and Public Administration has partnered with the Chartered Professional Casualty Underwriters (CPCU), Golden Empire Chapter, to offer a test preparation workshop for the CPCU 510 national exam. The workshop will be offered on Tuesday evenings from Nov. 10 to February 17, 2010.

The workshop, to be taught by Gordon Loo, will prepare individuals for the CPCU 510 national exam offered January-March 2010. Those passing the national exam will have an opportunity to earn credit toward their master's degree in business administration at CSUB.

The first class of the series will be held at the State Farm Operations Center, 900 Old River Road, beginning at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 10.
