In the process of receiving supervisory orientation, training and instruction, you will also be made aware of the level of performance expected by your supervisor. Performance evaluations will be conducted periodically to identify areas of good performance, and to assist you in correcting any problems which may be encountered and to keep you informed of your progress. Your ability to consistently improve and demonstrate competency in the performance of your duties will be considered by your supervisor in the evaluation of your continued employment; and whether you should be granted permanent status upon the completion of your probationary period.

During the probationary period, performance evaluations are normally conducted at three, six and nine months for employees with one year probation and six, twelve and eighteen months for employees with a two year probation, but may be conducted more frequently, if considered appropriate by the supervisor. Permanent employees receive evaluation on an annual basis.
