Rain, snow, sleet, hail ... I introduce Shipping and Mail

This department has two distinct sub-departments, responsible for different types of deliveries, but honestly, we know you just want your stuff.  Here’s the low-down:

Mail Services (x2047) is responsible for receiving and distributing all incoming US and interoffice campus mail, plus processing outgoing US Mail.  (Follow me to Mail options, including how to prepare your mail)

Shipping and Receiving (x3000) is responsible for receiving and delivering all non-US Mail packages and deliveries, and processing all outgoing non-US Mail packages, P.O. returns, warranty repairs, UPS Ground Rate and Overnight Rate packages. ( Follow me to S&R options)

The Generalities:

Hours of Operation:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

All outgoing mail MUST be brought to the mail room before 3:00 p.m. for same day processing. Mail deliveries and pick-ups are scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. daily. The Campus Mail Stop List is available here. There is an additional pick-up at 2:30 only for OVERNIGHT/EXPRESS MAIL service in three locations:  The hallway in front of Human Resources, The DDH mailroom, and the 1st floor mailroom of BDC building A.

Personal mail and packages may NOT be sent or received through the university mail room for any reason, as state facilities may not be used for personal business.  As a courtesy, Mail Services has placed personal drops around campus for your pre-stamped mail.  This mail is picked up and given to the U.S. Postal Service.  Mail Services assumes no responsibility for personal mail.
