| Parking Services at C.S.U.B.
is to provide quality parking services, parking
lot safety, and enforcement of regulations in
a fair and consistent manner, while conforming
to Title V of the California Code of Regulations,
which provides that parking fees shall be assessed
to park vehicles upon CSU campuses. We are dedicated
to protecting the spaces for those who pay the
required parking fees and properly display the
appropriate permit (daily permit, parking pass,
or deposit of coins in a meter), so that students,
faculty, staff, and visitors are able to park
lawfully and as conveniently as possible. We are also dedicated to providing quality service that results in a high level of customer service.

As the campus continues to grow, Parking and Parking Services must adapt. In order for our enforcement actions to have the desired affect, written and codified parking regulations are necessary.

DISABLED PARKING AT
C.S.U. BAKERSFIELD
Disabled individuals may utilize disabled parking spaces by displaying the appropriate state issued license plate or placard along with a valid campus parking permit. The permit rate applies to disabled parking on the C.S.U. Bakersfield campus and is authorized for all C.S.U. campuses. The authority to charge a fee for use of parking facilities by disabled individuals is defined in the California Education Code, section 67301(a) , the California Vehicle Code, section 21113, and Title 5 of the California Administrative Code. These authority sections set aside other provisions made for non-payment of parking fees as defined in California Vehicle Code section 22511.5.
