Overview

Charges: Most charges will be billed to you through the campus Student Account System. Items on your account may include registration fees, campus housing and telephone charges, library fines, and other miscellaneous debts. The charges may be due this month or sometime in the future. For example, a Tuition Deferment Contract.

Billing: Billing Notices are mailed each month as long as your account has a past due balance. Bills are sent by e-mail or to the mailing address on file. You may update your mailing address at the Records and Admissions Office located in the Student Services Bldg. If your account becomes delinquent, you may incur additional late fees. Payment plans may be available for an additional fee if you are unable to pay your account balance in full. Continued delinquency could result in placement to an outside collection agency. If your account is placed with an outside collection agency, you may be required to pay all reasonable collection costs including attorney fees.

Privacy Issues: Only the student named on the account may obtain information regarding account transactions. If you would like to give the Student Financial Services office authorization to discuss and release account information to a third party (e.g., your parents or spouse), please complete an Authorization to Release Information form. Forms are available at the Student Financial Services office located in the Administration East Bldg. The release authorization is limited to information available from the Student Financial Services office. For example, it does not apply to grades, academic standing, health services, student activities, etc.
