Facilities Planning Development and Operations Projects Under Construction

All projects listed are under construction or recently completed.

Baseball Field Lighting Project- To enable the baseball team to play night games, we are installing a lighting system designed to meet NCAA Division 1 post-season standards.

Nursing 105- Funded through grants from the Federal Government, this project encompasses modernizing the lecture hall to remove outdated furniture and replace the audio/video equipment projection screen. Also included in this project are better lighting and seating to enhance the learning experience for the students.

Chiller Project- By replacing outdated, unreliable, and inefficient AC equipment with modern, energy efficient equipment campus wide, we will be better able to provide cooling to the campus community that is more environmentally friendly.

Antelope Valley Modular Building 500- The addition of this 4,000 square foot structure will expand the CSUB presence on the Antelope Valley campus. The structure will include a student/staff lounge, a computer lab, and a library.

Science 2 lab- The lab remodel in Science 2 will convert existing underutilized science lab space to accommodate state of the art lab equipment to better serve modern science students. This space will be appropriate for research purposes.

Solar Project- Funded by SunEdison, this project provided solar energy-generating covers for 500 parking spaces in lots E and I. For details on this project, follow this link. http://www.csub.edu/pac/news/2010/summer/solarproject.shtml
