This is the CSUB Custodial Division Web Site. The purpose of this Web Site is to enhance the awareness of the services we provide to our customers. • Increase campus-recycling containers at each office site.
  
• Limit food and drink in all campus classrooms. Ask the departments and faculty to remind students to use trash containers.
  
• Require facility users to return the furniture to the configuration when they are finished. Tablet arms should be returned to rows. This reconfiguration takes a custodian 1/2 hour per classroom each night when desks are moved.
  
• Closer coordination with Catering to pickup setup left from the day before.
  
• Require student groups to clean up food, drinks and trash after utilizing a classroom for an event. This increased cleanup takes one custodian1/2 hour per classroom to cleanup.

• Empty trash - all containers daily
• Sweep floors - dust mop Tue. Thur.
• Spot mop floor - mop up spills/sticky areas as needed
• Vacuum traffic patterns for carpeted areas - weekly
• complete mopping of floors - weekly
• strip and wax floors- once every two years
• Restore and High Speed floors - three times per year
• Central stairwells - Tue. Thur.
• Non central stairwells - sweep and mop weekly
• dusting - monthly
• Windows - annually
• White Boards - Tue. Thur. of each week

Lobbies:

• Empty trash - daily
• Sweep floors - daily
• Spot mop - as needed
• Strip and wax - annually
• Glass doors - daily
• Restore floors - quarterly

Hallways:

• Empty trash - as needed
• Sweep floors - Tues. Thurs.
• Spot mop - as needed
• Strip and wax - once every two years
• Restore floors - quarterly
