The CSUB Alumni Association awards scholarships to CSUB graduates pursuing their graduate
degree on campus. The Alumni Scholarship Endowment was established in 1990 with a
gift of $5,000 and is now valued at more than $220,000.
The 2021-2022 academic year was record-breaking. The Alumni Association awarded $25,000
in scholarships, the most it has ever given out in a single year and double what it
gave the year before.
In 2024, the Alumni Association Board voted to contribute $50,000 to the scholarship
endowment. This is one of the largest contributions the Alumni Association Board has
made toward its endowment - thanks to the generous community partners who support
our programs.

2023-2024 Recipients
The CSUB Alumni Association recently awarded $13,000 in scholarships to five alumni who will be pursuing their graduate degree on campus during the 2023-2024 academic year. Funds for the awards came from the Alumni Scholarship Endowment established in 1990 and proceeds from fundraisers such as the CSUB Alumni Hall of Fame awards ceremony.
Our recipients included future teachers, counselors, human resource managers and more.
Our recipients include future teachers, counselors, businesspeople, social workers and more. We asked them to share, in their own words, a little more about their career plans and how the scholarship money will help them achieve their dreams.
