Wonderful Summer 2019

Wonderful Summer!

CSU Bakersfield, Wonderful Education, and the Kern Community Foundation are proud to announce a new partnership that will support Wonderful Scholars as they transition to CSU Bakersfield. In July, Wonderful Scholars will have the opportunity to participate in a dedicated summer transitional program:

Residential Summer Programs are one of the most effective interventions for incoming students. The combination of a residential program and a developmental academic environment serves to prepare students for the collegiate experience.

Students will live on campus in our newest housing facilities, bond as a team, explore the campus, meet their advisors, and create unforgettable memories!

The two-week, all expenses paid residential program will have both social and academic components, including a variety of social and engagement activities designed to expedite adjustment to collegiate life.
