The Wellness Program at the SRC hosts events targeting various dimensions of wellness such as the physical, social, emotional, and spiritual aspects of health. The SRC collaborates with other departments on campus including the Counseling Center, Student Health Services, Center for Community Engagement and Career Education (CECE), Services for Students with Disabilities, and Campus Programming to bring the campus community together. Our events aim to inform the CSUB community about college-related wellness topics and allow for interactive hands-on learning experiences and open discussions. Some of our past and continuing Wellness Workshops include:

  • Food 4 Thought: Exercise and Nutrition Lunch n’ Learn
  • Mental Health Awareness Week
  • Nursing Department Health Screenings
  • Fitness and Wellness Expo
  • Aromatherapy/Essential Oil Workshop
  • How to Beat the Winter Blues
  • Specialty Rock Climbing events.
